Yankee Sportfishing Charters prides itself on following the migration of Salmon on Lake Ontario from the warm Spring hideouts
in the Western Basin to their Fall staging waters off of large Rivers like Oak Orchard Creek and the Genesee River. You will
have the opportunity to battle gear shredding King Salmon in Early Spring from May to the beginning of June, and then again
in mid Summer through Fall (July-September).

The month of April can be prime time on Lake
Ontario for Brown Trout fishing, and it is my favorite time to fish for them. Typically we are trolling the shoreline where
the warmest water is while chasing these fish during this time of year. Brown Trout can be a great deal of fun on light tackle,
and thats what we will use to catch them! With new top of the line rods and reels from Daiwa these fish can bring loads of
excitement. The other nice thing about this charter is you don't have to go far to find them, which is why the charter prices
for Brown Trout trips are cheaper.
