April 1st - May 1st is one of the
easiest times to target Brown Trout on Lake Ontario. While waiting for those powerful king Salmon to show up the Brown
Trout can offer non-stop action with most fish averaging 3-8 pounds. We use lighter gear, which makes these fish a
blast to catch. Not to mention there is also no reason for a nice spring Steelhead or a domestic King Salmon to take our
offerings. Brown Trout are very pretty fish, and to catch them this time of year we target the shorelines of Lake
Ontario.
