10/21 - The Boat is Away! But let's
start Booking for 2010!
Well, the equipment is off the boat, and the boat has been winterized.
That means two things: 1. Its hunting season and 2. Fishing season is over on the Big O. We had a FANTASTIC season on the
Lake. The Lake is as good now as it ever was. Limit catches were the norm along with Salmon hitting the 30lb mark in late
August and early November. I cant wait until next year! We have some things lined up for next year which we are very excited
about. As they happen i will post them to this blog. It's never too early to book your dates for the 2010 season. Most customers
in 2009 re-booked for 2010 already. So, grab your dates while they are available. Looking for a charter
thats a tad bit cheaper, or something your kids will enjoy? How about an April Brown Trout charter? These fish run a little
smaller than the HUGE Salmon you see all over our website. So, the kids can handle them with out an issue. This time of the
year, April, we don't need to go far to get to the fish.
May Salmon season is the BEST time on Lake Ontario for numbers of fresh
Salmon. These fish are feisty, and offer up a lot of action. We have been fishing the West end of Lake Ontario during May,
which is where the Salmon season begins, for 10 years now. We have a very good idea of what these fish do given any condition.
Out of the hundreds, and maybe even thousands, of boats that fish the Spring LOC on Lake Ontario we are generally able to
put a fish or two on the leaderboard. That just goes to show the dedication we have for May's Spring Salmon season. The
next prime month is August, from the port of Oak Orchard/Pt. Breeze, where we have been calling home lately during the times
we aren't tourney fishing up and down Lake Ontario. Fishing during this time is a BLAST! Limit catches just about every day
with a mix of Salmon and Steelhead. This is the time of year where the Trophy Steelhead come to play, and we are fishing one
of the most consistent ports for this. So
dont wait! Pick up that phone, or write me that e-mail to hold your date!
